Surrounding the cobbled North Courtyard lie the estate cottages
which have been created from the restored period outbuildings
at Kingston.
The cottages range in date from the thatched
Bass Court (circa 1650), Coach House & Old Stables (circa
1735), Walnut Cottage (1789) to Bull Cottage, Little Shippen,
Doves Jackdaws and Owls (circa 1830). All the cottages have
been converted with the utmost sympathy, in their interior
decoration and furnishings as well as their exteriors.
The cottages at Kingston provide the very highest
standard self-catering accommodation and have been awarded
an English Tourist Board rating of five stars.
The cottages range in size, providing accommodation for between
two and six persons, (although several cottages interlink
and larger parties often choose to occupy several cottages).
Each cottage consists of a modern, (fully equipped), kitchen,
sitting room, beautiful bedrooms and high quality bathrooms
in keeping with the property.
For those guests who prefer not to cook, "Moveable Feasts" are available to order. Prepared by our own Roux trained chef, choose from a wide range of locally and internationally inspired dishes that are based upon prime local produce. A superb wine cellar offers vintages from around the world and at off licence prices.
By arrangement, guests can dine in the house where three or four course dinners are served in the dining room or gardens.
