Kingston House Period Suites
Kingston House is now widely regarded as being one of the finest surviving examples of early eighteenth century architecture in Britain today. The accommodation is suitable for adults only.
The Blue Suite
Formerly the master bedroom of the house, the Blue Suite is named for the dramatic Angel Tester bed hung with blue damask.
The Red Suite
As the name suggests, this bedroom is warmed by walls papered in russet-red damask with deep red window blinds and above the bed, original canopies made for the house in the 1830?s.
The Green Room
The fine light mahogany four poster bed was made for this bedroom in 1830 and is dressed with a seaweed patterned chintz that is an exact replica of the original fabric.
