Several of the cottages have been enhanced with new kitchen equipment that includes cookers, dishwashers, washing machines, refrigerators, micro-waves and kettles.

Television technology has been up-dated with flat screen televisions complete with Digi-boxes thereby offering a wide selection of viewing channels.

The handsome panelled walls of the Blue Suite have been re-painted in Farrow and Ball "Old White" which has resulted in a very striking and highly flattering combination with the stately dove blue damask hangings of the Angel Tester bed and accents of old rose found in cushions and table tops.

The National Gardens Scheme

Kingston House is a long standing participant of the National Garden Scheme and the ravishing gardens of the house will be open on the following dates in 2008:

April 20th, 11th May and 15th June

2 pm -6 pm

There will be an evening opening on July 13th
