Walnut Cottage, was constructed by the second owner of the present house (James Bradbridge who acquired The Kingston Estate in 1786), and was built in order to add further staff and kitchen accommodation for the house.

With it's slate kitchen floor, original ceiling hooks for hanging hams and dried herbs, spacious sitting room with a wood burning stove in the fireplace Walnut Cottage makes a cosy ideal home for up to six persons.
Walnut has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, all superbly comfortable and well equipped. The sitting room is light-filled and comfortable with twin sofas, winged chairs and extendable dining table and chairs. French doors open directly onto the terrace with the garden beyond.
